Ojai artist Susan Griffin and Carpinteria artist Kim Snyder are showing in a Pop-up art show at The Mob Shop Saturday, December 15 from 10 to 4. The two artists have a life-long love of nature, animals and art along with a drive to create with heart, that brought them together to bring their art to sometimes unconventional gallery spaces with like-minded business owners for one day events. This event is free and open to the public.

Susan Griffin has been a professional painter, art educator and chef for forty years. She studied with Vern Wilson and Bert Collins. Griffin works in pastel, oil, gouache, and charcoal. Her primary subjects are figural, animals, people, and still life’s. Her work has been exhibited widely throughout Santa Barbara and is in numerous private collections.

Kim Snyder Studied at Santa Barbara City College and UCSB Extension in the late 70’s, early 80’s with teacher Robert Frame, among others, as well as painting for artists including Mike Dolas, Illustrator of the Golden age of Illustration. Offering Paintings in her Carpinteria Studio recording the beautiful surroundings in Santa Barbara County.
